HP Photosmart C5180

I am soooo happy today!!! I bought a new printer. I already had a hp-printer (3845) and the photo's I printed before are also of good quality, but with a niece I often print in the same colour with the result that my cartridge is empty very quickly. Then you throw away all the other colours in the cartridge and that is a waste of money in my opinion. So I wanted a printer with separate colour cartridges. And I didn't had a scanner yet, so I now have all in one!! It prints very high quality pictures for what I have seen so far. And I installed it all by myself, hahahaha. If you can't find me, you know what I am doing!!

Our little water angel

Last Friday my niece had to "swim" for her diploma. For babies it's only floating and a lot of spattering, but it was very fun to watch. As proud as I am I took a lot of pictures!! Although taking pictures in an inside pool is difficult I managed to take a lot of good pictures, which I could photoshop easily. I found this sketch on a forum. I had some left overs from the Doodlebug paper I used for the previous layout. It is a colourful layout because of the sketch. I like it!!

Merry Christmas!

Because I cannot send everyone who I know a christmascard I would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody a merry christmas and a very happy new year!!

My personal goal for 2008 is that I have fun in everything I do!!! And ofcourse to scrapbook a lot more than I did in 2007. I wish happiness and health for everyone!

Finally....

Finally, I have scrapped again. Last week I made my christmascards, but that is not the same. My "passion" for scrapbooking is with 12x12 layouts and not smaller objects. Simple layouts, that's my thing, although I sometimes see layouts somebody else made which I absolutely love, which are so full of things, and layered and things like that. I am afraid to go further and destroy my masterpiece!! After four years of scrapbooking I am still afraid to destroy my layouts and papers. But that was not my story.....lol.....no, it was a long time ago I just sat down and made something for me, myself and I. I bought this patterned paper from Doodlebug a while ago and I immediately fell in love with it. It's so girlish!! I love the pink and blue accents a lot. It matched perfectly with the picture I took from Anouk a few weeks ago. I printed the photo in black and white, otherwise there were too much colours there. It became a very happy layout I think. What do you think?

Christmastree

Every year my mom and I go to all gardencentres for the christmasdecorations. To see what colours are popular and kind of new decorations they have to match those colours. And every year I say to myself: you have enough decorations to decorate 10 christmastrees, so don't buy anything. Wrong, hahaha. Every year I come back with at least one new item. In a topic below I already described how I wanted my tree to look like, so here is the result. I find it very difficult to make beautiful pictures when it's dark outside....so sorry for the picture.

Especially when it's dark outside, he's so beautiful. All the lights sparkle on the bling bling items. So great. The days before Christmas is for me the most fun part of the year (besides summer maybe). I am always looking forward to decorating the tree, lighting up the candles and just watch some movies or just television.

Fun part also are the christmascards. This year for the first time I make them myself. Every one of them. Now, I don't have a lot of family and friends so I only have to make like 20 cards, but it's a lot of work. I am half way now. I won't show the cards, because I know some people watch my blog and then the surprise is gone. Well, I am going back to the scraptable, because I still have 8 cards to go!!!

Time

Where can I buy some extra time? If anyone knows, please tell me. I am going nuts!! I want to do so many things, but I just can't find any time to do them. Especially scrapbooking. My last LO was made like two weeks ago and the one before that about 4 weeks ago. One LO every two weeks is not enough. I have such a great room and I can not find the time to enjoy it and scrap there. When I come home from work I first have to do some chores, then cook for my self, do dishes, etc. And I also do some sports four times a week. My weekends are full. I bought myself the Scrapbook Etc. like two weeks ago and I didn't even read one page yet.

I hope this will fly by very soon, because I just miss sitting at my desk for hours above a LO which becomes more and more beautiful every minute.

Christmas and Sinterklaas on one day

Is that possible? Yes, it is..... Today my mom, my friend Leonie en I went to different gardencentres for the Christmas stuff......decorations, trees....awful stuff, but also things which we so loved. We all bought a few things to make our trees very beautiful. My tree will be white and black this year....maybe with a little pink here and there. Something like below....I really loved this one!!

And this evening I am celebrating Sinterklaas with my friends. We play games with presents and just have a lot of fun!! I will try to make some pictures, because that is always a great memory. This is the first time to celebrate this with my new group of friends. And....I am going because I have to be there in about 15 minutes!!!
